1993 Defender 90 200Tdi County Station Wagon (Project)
Registered 11/10/1993 currently showing 138,555 miles on the clock. Blue 7 seats + Cubby Box. M.O.T till 19 July 2019 All 5 gears work plus High and Low ratios. Tyres have a decent amount of tread on them. I purchased the 90 in November last year with the intention of a project, my situation has changed so decided to move it on. This is a basic 1993 Defender 90 200Tdi County with no frills or modifications. There is very little service history, at some point it spent 9 years of its life in France which will explain the gap on the GOV.UK M.O.T history check site. My plan for this year was to fit a new Richards chassis, refurb all the running gear, axles, brakes and an engine overall then next year look at the body work, the bulkhead is solid with no visible rot. A new rear crossmember has been fitted at sometime, the rest of the chassis has had a number of patches/welds and will need further major repairs including replacing both front dumb irons, and a number of other areas will need patching/welding to pass an M.O.T due July 19. The body work is for most part straight and in fair condition for its age, the inside looks original and everything is in working order. All the electrics work, just had them checked out and repaired by a local auto electrical specialist. There are a number of oil leaks. The 90 starts first time and runs. £3450 o.n.o Happy to answer any questions, the 90 is in Lincoln. Don Now Sold Last edited by London 52 on 24th Mar 2019 5:37pm. Edited 6 times in total |
