Cargo barrier
I'm looking to finish off some internal fitting out of the rear of my USW.

So far I've got a solid shelf across the rear wheel arches with cargo track so that we can store some of the heavy stuff under the shelf and lash down the fridge and some other boxes. The next task is to put up some sort of suitable cargo barrier above the rear seats for the light stuff like sleeping bags.

Has anybody used a cargo net for this purpose rather than the solid Landrover barrier? Something like this: https://rocknroad4x4.com/shop/load-barrier-cargo-net-defender/

If you did how did you mount it so that you had confidence in the anchors as well as the net?

Any ideas, comment or inspiration welcome

Thanks

I use a metal dog guard. I considered netting but decided that it would give too much. A decent sleeping bag nicely rolled and compressed could cause a terminal head or neck injury when travelling at 60mph !

I've done this, with a rock and road net, in a 110 CSW
I used the load bed lashing points at the bottom, the seat brackets in the middle (I have exmoor middle row seats fitted, so the catches for the split seat are redundant) and some eye bolts fitted in the internal roof channel near the alpine windows for the top. There are some handy 8mm holes already there.
It's mainly used to keep the dog in the rear, everything else that could fly around is lashed down individually.
I didn't want a standard metal cage as I wanted to remove it when carrying passengers in the rear or use it on my roof rack or to use with the interior cargo lashing points if needed.
The net is excellent quality and they were very helpful.

I've used some of the safety mesh that is usually found around the outside of scaffold-clad buildings, which is secured using the biggest cable ties I could find after being wrapped around the C hoop of my internal roll cage, down as far as the wheel boxes. There's nothing I carry in the load bed that can fit through the mesh.
You can just make it out in this picture, behind the dog box: -
