Hi
I dont know if this will help you, but as you i wanted some side lockers but they are way too expensive, so after waiting 2-3 years, i finally got a pair, i think they were from a western power landy. As i was fussy in what i wanted, these turned out to just right after a bit of work doing on one of them ............. This one is the N/S and has had all the work done to it ............... Click image to enlarge This is the O/S one and no work needed to be done on this one as it is all aluminium ................ Click image to enlarge If you want more pic's just let me know The best bit is that i have 2 more side locker boxes that i got at a good price with the doors, i was going to cut one up to make it smaller to fit behind the N/S back wheel, but they are to good to do that 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Great stuff, I all ready have the doors it’s more of the inside the wing bit I need to make... and I’m going to use all the space rather than just enough for a Jerry can or two @steve_overland on Insta.

Ok, don't forget to use the small bit of space behind the wheel from the box to the rear
I know this won't make much sense to you, so i will take a pic for you, this extra bit on the box is on the O/S box, it came with it on, all original 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Nice! Are these lockers waterproof? Will you be doing the other side as well? Where did you get the lockers? Does the one on top of the exhaust get warm or hot?

I fitted ones from Safari Equip. Really nice product made of stainless steel. I had them wrapped for a client but they look great just painted the body colour.

IIRC there was a company called Landiebox or Landieboxes who made an interesting array of Defender specific storage lockers. I remember having seen pics of sidelockers that also were accessible from the interior.
Unfortunately, a quick online search points to them not being in business anymore. Greetings, Joris Antares Treadwell, a MY06 110 Td5 in Chawton White |

Finally got round to fitting the other two, larger Hatches, Just got to get the ally to build the inner sections. (The rear box is actually straight, despite how it looks in the pictures)
