 Managed to clear a spot big enough to keep the new chassis in the dry while I paint it up.
Yesterday I had a bit of a tidy up in the workshop, stripped the brake lines off, whipped off the rear prop, and attempted to make a start on removing the rear axle ready for stripping. I ran out of time in the end. Every single component is rusted solid and is either rounding off or shearing... This is gonna take a while!!!

 Got it! 
Managed to tie it in with another job I had on so after a road trip of 900 miles over a day and a bit, the new chassis is sitting in my spares barn... Turned up outside Richards Chassis...  Clayton.
The Transit catastrophically failed it's MOT, I had to hire a 3.5t Luton but I had a clearance to do as well. |

You'll love this Procta!
Nothing's turned up yet mate! I jumped onto the Parcelforce site this morning to check the tracker number you gave me and they reckon they've attempted delivery 3 times! Funny that cause they've not left a single card to let me know! According to the site, a card has been left letting me know I can pick it up from the Post Office. I've not had anything. No idea what PO to go to! Not you're problem mate, I've had this with a few firms that just give up on our address cause they can't find it.
I'll ring Parcelforce today and find out where it is. |
