jah, because a Nurburgring-tuned Defender is just what off-roaders want
having said that, the lack of body roll in the corners compared to the current one is impressive -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

At least they are also putting them around Eastnor as well! A long wheel base with wheel on the rear door and roof rack drove through Ledbury this morning. Noticeably wider than current.

I picked up Mrs Grenadier’s new TT from Cologne a couple of years ago, the route back to the Alps taking me straight past the Ring. I was sorely tempted, but imagine explaining to Mrs G that I’d written off her TT before she’d even had a chance to drive it. Thankfully I’ve become more wise with age... Monsieur Le Grenadier

My thoughts exactly !! Might as well avoid the wait and pick up a low mileage D4 for less money now. |

After teats on the ring, in the cold and hot, in the mud and rocks, they shouldn't forget to test it in its natural habitat: on the recovery truck☺ Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR

I struggle to think of an environment less suited to a Defender.
Whether or not it is a suitable test location for a new design is another matter, as most miles will be driven on tarmac for most prospective owners, so it does make some sense. I wouldn't take my Defender, not just because of its unsuitability, more down to many of the other drivers trying too hard to become ring legends and collecting me in the process. |
