Hi guys. I'm selling my 110.
£21,500 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...:MESELX:IT Beautiful 7 seat Land Rover Defender 110 in metallic Cairns Blue. Around 38,000 miles (in daily use) Full Service History V5 present and in my name (currently on a private plate which not included in sale) Only 1 owner prior to me Just been MOT'd, taxed (12 months) Just had the major service by our local Land Rover main dealer costing £748.97 Rear cross member resprayed - none of the usual rust A new one in this spec would be over £40,000! Proper Land Rover which is ready to go! Anywhere! It is the 'XS' model which is as luxurious as a Defender gets:- Half leather seats (all 7) Heated front seats ABS and Traction Control Air conditioning Central locking Tow bar with electrics (never used by me) It is also the current TDCi model, NOT the old noisy TD5. This means:- Forward facing third row of seats with inertia reel seatbelts that can be used with child seats / booster seats Much quieter TDCi 'Puma' engine Upgraded dashboard with good, hot heater and cool air conditioning Smooth 6 speed gearbox In addition to this, I have added the following to make it an even nicer place to spend time:- Parrot Bluetooth and iPod connection. Works really well. Make handsfree calls from your phone and play your music through it. iPhone 4 compatible. Front parking sensors. This really helps! J E Engineering Stage 2 engine kit. This takes the performance from the standard sluggish 122bhp to 180bhp and removes the 82mph speed limiter. This transforms the car. Cost me £1,000. Nakatanenga glove box fitted in front of front passenger seat to increase storage. OEM Land Rover rubber mats throughout. It has been used as our family car for the past 3 years. I have three boys who adore it. We also have used it a couple of times a year for the odd green lane but nothing that even remotely taxes the car. It has the following items of equipment professionally fitted that you could very easily extend if you wanted it to be a full on overland vehicle:- Frontrunner roofrack with spade holder, spare wheel holder, jerry can holder and hi-lift jack holder. Rear access ladder - my boys really love that! 4 OEM Land Rover spot lights fitted to the roof rack. These come on when full beam is selected - brighter than the sun at night! Work light to rear of roof rack operated by a switch inside. 265 / 75 General Grabber AT2 tyres fitted which all have around 10mm of tread left according to the Land Rover dealer. CB radio with aerial. Underside protection (steering, diff and fuel tank guards). Light guards all round. KBX side and top air vents in correct Brunel colour. Union Jack Land Rover badge in grille. Totally standard suspension - I don't believe in messing with this when my children are the passengers and 99.9% of the time it is used On Road. All invoices and MOT certificates are available for inspection:- Delivered new to first owner by Guy Salmon Land Rover of Portsmouth on 13th June 2007 8,158 miles - South West 4x4 Sales on 10th July 2008 12,364 miles - Stratstone Land Rover Milton Keynes (from whom I bought the car, 24k service) on 20th June 2009 25,128 miles - Keith Gott Land Rovers (36k service) on 13th May 2010 (£3,197.34 spent with fitment of roof rack and lights) 37,312 miles - Westover Land Rover (48k service) on 24th May 2011 Yes, I'll have a deal with you but not at £thousands off so, please, no silly offers. I am in no rush to sell at all. Cleared funds only within 7 days of accepted offer to take delivery and £250 by Paypal within 1 day of acceptance of offer. Please, if you are in any doubt, get the car inspected or come and see it. I'll happily let you have a drive and pore all over it but please make sure you are insured first (try Tempcover for this). The car will be sold as seen with no warranty implied or offered. Private sale. You can contact me via this site or on my mobile phone. 07832 237249. Thanks Bob. I don't know. I think this makes it less attractive and besides, a new owner could do that and reap the rewards accordingly. Defender 110 XS 2007 Puma

James can I be very rude and ask how much you actually sold it for?

Me too - if you achieved anything like the asking price it means my Land Rover is the first car I've ever owned which potentially has negative (or should that be positive?) depreciation. Has cheered me up no end! |

That's appreciation. Anything you can do, I can do slower and less efficiently. |
