[For Sale] Steinbauer power boost module - 2.4 engine
A plug-in boost module that takes the power output from 121bhp to 145bhp, extract from the on-line info below:

Landrover Defender 2.4l td

Original Power: 121bhp
Enhanced Power: 145bhp

Original Torque: 360Nm
Enhanced Torque: 432Nm

Part Number: SB-220153

More information about the Steinbauer power boosters

The desired performance enhancement is achieved by changing the injection duration, the same way the system was originally designed to operate. This also allows precise fuel control throughout the full rpm range of the engine. Injection duration is achieved by adding pulse width to a signal, (i.e. at end of injection). This is not changing timing—that’s best left to the factory ECU. The STEINBAUER module also does not interfere with common rail pressure - making the STEINBAUER module the best choice for your engine.

I understand that this was fitted for around a month before the Land Rover was sold - looking at the loom with the unit, this would seem to be appropriate. This is being sold on behalf of someone that I’ve just bought other stuff from (for the Tornado build) and I’ve known the family for many years and have no reason to doubt the period of use or the genuine nature of the unit...

Looking on the good ol’ web, this would appear to retail at just shy of a grand - I was thinking of £100 plus postage.

I’d prefer collection from Towcester if possible - that way, you get to see who I am and it’s not just an arms-length transaction, plus I’d happily take cash off you and make tea if required!

Alternatively, I will be heading to Newbury for the Sort Out on 7th April if you want to collect from there...
