The 300TDI is looking really good, I'm paying good interest as I've just bought one as a project keeper. Nice paint work, it's one thing that I always convince myself I can't do well... But probably can. Any recommendations on equipment?

Funny the sense of 'dejà vu' I get looking at these pics! Looks like this is going to be a cracker!

Appreciate the comments fellas .......The paint is Coach Enamel from The Paintman, Its a good product can be brushed or Sprayed, not as hard or quick drying as 2Pk but is very forgiving. As with all paint jobs prep is the key.

Thanks for the tip on paint... I'm going to give mine a go... Never done it before, but I'm going to do it.. I'll probably post on here, when I start the project.

Very little done on this to be honest, It would now cost me an extra €4650 on top of the Vrt to register in Ireland, thanks to the government new Nox tax on older diesels
So that obviously not an option now ....so will be putting into UK auction, as its still on uk plates, once door arrive and its almost completed. Removed the rear tub got it painted and undersealed, and waiting on new 2nd row door from SP. Nidge. |
