Will you post the video when the chinese knock off burns your garage and Defender to a cinder?

I bought a 2nd hand D2 airtronic for £250 and fitted that to my 110, a friend has the Chinese one though and that's still working fine.

I can see the pics now I am at home. Under the rear seats is my current thinking. I did have the thought of engine bay and then duct the warm air in via the heater/blower feed. 1999 Defender TD5 110

I've had it running on the workbench for an hour before I started on the landy.
It cost me £118 and took a fortnight to come from Hong Kong. Even if I end up fitting a genuine eberspacher glow plug and fuel pump its still a bargain. There's a facebook group with a lot of knowledge hidden away on the faq and files section. I chose the mud housing and found a guy on ebay who makes stainless manifolds / mounts / exhaust finishers etc. I intend to see how it goes for a while but if all is well I intend to replace the plastic 5l tank with a bigger (and easier to fill) custom jobby. I am also planning a way of sealing the intake and exhaust so as not to compromise my wading depth. |

Its a 3 door ex military 110 and although the heater in the front isnt bad, I can drive all day and the back is still freezing cold which is no fun for the kids. |

I've been thinking of one for the garage but I'm interested in your truck install. Looking forward to updates. Mike

Yes, put the 'u' bend in as a bit of added protection from water splashes.
For proper wading the mesh filter unscrews and I can fit a bung. |
