Batch number / Barcode: Specific vehicles built between 09/03/2015 and 05/07/2018

Risk type: Environment

Certain vehicles fitted with 2.0L Diesel Engines may emit excessive levels of CO² and may not conform with the certified condition.
CO2 and other greenhouse gases contribute to global warming pollution. A reduction in CO2 emissions contributes to the EU greenhouse gas reduction targets helping protect the environment.

The product does not comply with the Regulation setting emission performance standards for new passenger cars and the Regulation on type approval of motor vehicles with respect to emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles.

JLR graduated from that school a long time ago... I seem to recall that V8 facelift D2s were fitted with SAI - supplementary air injection, air pumped into the exhaust manifold to reduce emissions Whistle

That sounds just like the pulsair system on the old V8 carb engines.
Dilute the crap going out the exhaust with clean air, to get lower % emissions. Rolling Eyes
