Seat retrim - front and rear retaining strips :@
I'm re trimming my seats but I'm stuck at this last part of "pushing together the front and rear retaining strips which are sewn into the bottom of the cover"

Does anyone who's done this have any advice or tips to getting these two parts together?

Thanks

Sorry, no tips.
I've done this job, strong fingers are required!

I watched the video but mine definitely isn't able to be done by one person. I'll have another try when I can get someone to give me an extra pair of hands.

After some more struggling I finally managed to get it done. One little tip for anyone else trying it is get the leather nice and hot with a hairdryer or heater first and then give it a bit of a stretch, seemed to make all the difference for me Thumbs Up

Apply a bit of steam to the leather as this helps it stretch
