I am told that Grangers Fabsil Gold is the best stuff, but I have never used it myself.

Not sure if the material on the Exmoor hoods is the same as the originals, but I had good results years ago when I treated my SIII Lightweight canvas with Grangers Fabsil.
It had started to drip through the sloping section over the driver & passenger seats and on the flat roof sections in the back. Cured all the drips and when it rained, water just beaded off the canvas. |

Yep, Fabsil is the stuff.
I replaced the soft-top on my 90 about 18-months ago as the old one was starting to get a bit threadbare but the old one had been on for about 16-years, treated with Fabsil only once in all that time yet was still 100% waterproof. ONE LIFE, GET IT! |

It's a job on the to do list for me as soon as the weather brightens up. Always used Fabsil with no issues.

Fabsil if it's canvas.

Fabsil worked brilliantly on my canvas but be careful not to get any on the plastic windows as it discolours them. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop
