Hi I had the same problem only solution was to change it, trashed my battery before I found out what it was purely by accident by passing the vehicle in the early hours and hearing it on, funnily it was never on when I went to drive it in the morning.

Traffic announcements do that sometimes.
I remember a couple years ago I ran outside cricket bat in hand about 5 or so times because I thought people were trying to nick the ST, only after I went out there once I realised it was on TA. For whatever reason when the engine/ECU was off the radio switched to a second set of settings. For the strangest reason there aren’t any relays or switches to turn the radio to off on some cars, it just puts it on standby.
