Hi All , Quick question
I had my EGR deleted 6 months ago at the same time as a tune from BAS . It’s great but still trying to get to the bottom of why I have so much crud and carbon build up around the EGR cooler pipe next to the MAP sensor ? Or is this carbon nothing to do with the EGR , just seems odd that it’s worst there. I get a tiny bit of oil in the intercooler pipes but I can’t see how this would convert to carbon BEFORE entering the engine ! When the EGR is shut off what actually happens , Does it stay open or close permanently ? Clearly I should just blank both ends and be done with it but would like to know.
