I had one fitted to my 2006 110 TD5 roughly 9-10 years ago and I "thought" they were good... however the problem is the fitting via zip ties through the radiator, this causes the electric fan to rub on the radiator over time and create a hole. This was after 3-4 of years and small enough to stop with Radweld but will eventually fail... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge They may well have changed this method of fitting by now but I wasn't impressed. I have now fitted a kit from Revotec which on first impressions seemed good, they provide a custom made shrouding to fit the fan away from the radiator. But after an order mix up and a 10% charge to swap for the correct kit for my TD5, I still ended up modifying the shrouding to prevent rubbing on the radiator so not a great experience either but a much better concept for fitting the fan to the radiator.
