2015 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Chawton White
Puma 2.2 Turbo Inlet pipe problems
Hi all, had my 130 Defender for 4 years now and only done 40,000 klms however, the turbo inlet rubber tube has split 4 times (and I suspect its gone again), she's just gone into Limp mode which is typical when this happens, the rubber elbow tube connected to the turbo inlet keeps splitting .... is there a factory mod to stop this happening, or an accessory (Heavy duty tube or stainless steel mod /) That can cure the problem ? Cheers and thanks for any advice

Would silicon hoses do the trick? I suspect the temperature where you are higher than average, so silicon should give better heat resistance.

A good idea however, the hose in question is custom made to be slightly larger on one end than the other ...
Thanks !
