looks like a mock up rather than a finished item. Will there be no manual option for the new defender?

I like it!
Looks functional Middle seat certainly Good mix of tech and utility I think the colour and this leaked pic don’t do it justice, hopefully black will be available. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Weird center aération/airco dash outlets. Stuck behind some kind of a dash rail, won’t give a very efficient airflow. The center display screen looks not incorporated in the dash, merely a stuck-on. Makes me think nothing of this dash is final yet.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I got that too - looks like there's a face on the display, between the two clocks. Apart from the comments about colour, and the 70's throwback, which I agree with, it also seems a bit 'American' to me?? Donald 1994 Defender 300Tdi 110 SW - owned since 2002 - 230k miles and going strong (The 'rolling restoration' or tinkering thread: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic58538.html ) 2000 Range Rover P38 4.0L V8 in the past.. RR classic - fitted with 200Tdi 1984 RR classic - V8 with ZF auto box 1993 Discovery 300Tdi not to mention the minis and the Type 2 VW camper... |

Many moons ago when I had to pass an off road test to drive around an opencast coal mine the boss said to me "keep those thumbs out of the wheel or you'll break them", I'm pleased to see they have added 4 handy thumb breaking holes to catch those you may actually drive up a kerb when going off road

First thing it brought to mind was Walter's Pontiac Aztec from Breaking Bad. |

Good point! I got a HUD for 'free' due to being OZ market on the RRS and despite being an option I would never have considered before I absolutely love it. Rock Crawl shows wheel positions etc whilst Dynamic gear number. m Click image to enlarge |

If that’s really what it’s going to be, I kind of like it.
It seems utilitarian, down to earth, sturdy, kind of basic and possibly even modular. Like a real Defender dashboard should be. |
