110 Rear door problems
Due to rust & weight facture of my rear door, which I am now replacing.
I am thinking of fitting a <2001, Britpart DA2232, swing away rear door carrier on the new replacement door. Are there any problems I should be aware of, with these Britpart carriers.

I have put this unit only all of my Series and Defenders. Currently on my 110 CSW. They are the best I have found. Food for thought and good luck. Thumbs Up

There are a range of spare wheel carriers. Britpart would be at the bottom of my list. 4X4 overland has a selection including stainless steel ones that require no bodywork drilling, or alterations.

Took my wheel off the back door and bolted to rear bulkhead to reduce weight and stress on rear door. I have a H/T so it doesn't spoil looks or practicality. Door is now stress free and with no problems.. Thumbs Up

I reckon a Mantec from Dan is best value but if your budget can stretch to it then the Nakatanenga carrier from Brendan is hard to beat.

Thanks for the suggestions & information.
The Extreme 4x4 carrier looks like my chosen way forward after reviewing their web site information.
