Yeah they felt a little squidgy or I described it as 'Fidgety' when new but they soon bedded in. I have now about 2500 miles and with the window open in summer motoring at the 30 - 45 mph mark there is some noise but far less than the wranglers and that soon goes when getting faster as the wind takes over.
I still like them Click image to enlarge Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest |

Be interested to see how that pans out familymad......some years ago I had a set of the old Cooper ST in 255/85 that were not listed on their UK site but they shipped a set in for me on their next load ?
Maybe if their was enough interest they may bring them across, I know I'd take a set of 5. N. Last edited by Nidge on 15th Jul 2018 12:34pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Hi ,
Thank you for your message and interest in our tyres. Unfortunately, the ST Maxx in that particular size that you are after are not sold into Europe anymore since the last 4 months. There was a new legislation put in place and this specific tyre didn’t meet the requirements. If you enter your vehicle on to our website, it will show you what other patterns we offer that could you be suitable for you. Sorry we cannot be more helpful. I can't decide between 235x85 St Maxx or 255x85 Open Country on Wolfs for similar money? James

Have done a huge amount of reading on the Toyo in 255. Gets some lovely write ups. Noise is 1db louder but most love them.
Now that’s just made me think again damn you 1951 80" S1 2.0 1995 110 300TDI 1995 90 300TDI |

I had a friend run them and the tread edges started to round quite soon so they lost their 'bite' still ok tread depth but obviously the compound is a bit soft. and he drives like an OAP as he is one Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Has anyone managed to buy these recently? Ive been ringing around and have been told they have been discontinued due to failing some regulation. Looking to replace a set of now old BFG ATs.... H |

I've heard several people say they are/were being discontinued. I do know that when I last looked the price of them had crept up above the price of an AT KO2.
The coopers were under £120 in 265/75/16 Back in 2016 when I bought mine. Edit: Just done a bit of searching, they don't seem to offer them in 265/75 any more, but do in 235/85 |
