Nitram - Yes, on mine top and bottom all around on my 90 with standard springs and the rear even has the wrap around one too. A little more lift on the back than front but all is good. (Not sure if that's standard or not anyway.)
Has been great for a good couple of years now. Thumbs Up

I'm using factory springs, with isolators top and bottom and factory dampers. (I don't doubt the Bilsteins are good though.)

Very pleased with it indeed, when's fitting it was a great opertunity to change spring seats, retainers etc and Dinitrol everything.
I also have D44 turrets and HD turret rings. Again, superb.

ROY5695 - On a 110 if memory serves me correctly you can use them too and bottom on the front only.
On the rear due to spring dia you cannot use the castellated isolators but you can however use the wrap around type instead.
There is little difference in height, but they are worth it.
There is a lot of info on here in the past, try searching 'spring isolators' and there should be more info.

All the spring isolators I used were Genuine, they were about £82 which isn't cheap...
There are cheaper alternatives but I wanted Genuine.

Again, the P/N for these should be on here in previous posts, likely mentioned by myself.

*Apologies for the thread hijack, just wanted to add the info that maybe useful.* KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

A good option for the front are the Discovery 2 version of the isolators as they have the turret securing bolts built in and are shaped to keep them in place:

For a 110 rear, there is an isolator ring made by Old Man Emu that's designed as a trim packer for a Toyota Tundra that fits. You can get them from Devon 4x4:

Just to confirm the 10mm thick isolators were fitted to the top of each spring to isolate the body.
The Alive springs were fitted in 2012 by CSK not sure if they were sports springs.

Hi smithy it appears there have been several ways of isolating the springs and its a bit confusing...some i think have used these on all four springs top and bottom

Basically, yes that's ok. Those castellated isolators are available at various prices on eBay and I seem to remember somebody saying that the very cheap ones were cheap for a reason. When I last bought a set, I got the Bearmach ones, which were absolutely fine.

For the Discovery 2 ones for the front, I bought these:

As an aside, I know that some people have fitted isolators both top and bottom but I doubt if the second layer adds anything. Once the spring is isolated from the chassis, it can't be any more isolated by adding something at the other end. Darren

Thanks LRA (and thanks again steve i missed your post before posting mine)I think the isolators all round were used by people who were using the lowered alive comfort springs (to regain some height back)......I know if you have isolated the top springs you will reduce the jarring to the body but logically if you fit a sheet of rubber on the bottom springs as thats what they are it must have an effect on reducing the jarring also? Every little helps and as long as it will do no harm?(any advice accepted)I will give it a go.

LRA - Nice find on those for a 110. Thumbs Up

Nitram - No issues with mine, drives nicely. I'll never have HD springs again though they were not fitted by me but last owner and were yellow. They were horrible and all the coating came off and became rusty.

Only thing I may try one day is the B6's but spring wise I'm happy with Genuine.
Again, the castellated spring isolators are Genuine too on mine, but not cheap.

If anyone does get to that stage it's an ideal time to replace the spring seats, fixings and Dinitrol everything with the spring out the way but of course be safe.. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

No, it won't do any harm and if used for the purposes of levelling then it's a useful trick. Just don't fit them for the wrong reasons. The bottom of the spring is firmly clamped to the spring seat so I just can't see how they could add anything to ride comfort.

To echo Steve's post, changing springs and shocks is definitely a good time to upgrade all of the mounting hardware with galvanised equivalents. Clamps and bolts are readily available from eBay but I'd recommend Gwyn Lewis's front open shock turrets and front and rear spring seats. Darren
