Defender TD5 Burning smell when Heated front screen is on?
Sorry to be a pain but can somebody please help me out, every time I use the factory fitted heated front windscreen on my 2005 defender TD5 XS I get a burning smell similar to hot plastic but with no smoke.
I think it is coming from behind the clocks where the indicator relay is located? is that where the HFW relay is located too?. could this be the problem?.

The screen itself works well and does exactly as it should, I’ts just the smell is a little bit on unnerving. It's more important to concentrate on what's ahead of you than what you have left behind.

This is what I keep watching to remind me why I own/keep my Defender. https://youtu.be/x4DZgOcgn1s

Nice one Dorsetsmith thanks.
I’ll check it out tomorrow, so basically it’s the yellow far left in centre console fuse box. It's more important to concentrate on what's ahead of you than what you have left behind.

Also this would explain the smell too?. It's more important to concentrate on what's ahead of you than what you have left behind.
