I think that in many ways the most remarkable thing about that is the fact that they travelled 5-up in a single Series I. It rather reinforces the message that we tend to take far more stuff with us on trips that we really need.
Also remarkable is the ordinariness and unpreparedness of the vehicle. A really outstanding achievement! |

I love the ubiquitous Sainsburys bag - one of the lost useful things on the planet.
Very impressive trip, though. In some way, more so than the original Oxford and Cambridge one. I'm not sure I'd relish spending nine months with four other people in a SWB Land Rover! Wow. What a video. It’s not easy doing overland expedition especially with kids involved. Nowadays kids all they need is a phone/tablet and WiFi. Nice to see how much they enjoyed the trip.
