Sounds like you need a remap and a few mods here and there ![]() My 2.4 is a 130mph sleeper! Sadly the speedo runs out but the photo gives you a rough idea, Bmw’s Don’t like the sight of my 90 in the rear view mirror at 100mph waiting to get past them ![]() I’ve got a straight through with just the back box inplace still and it sounds nice and deep but not too loud with a good turbo noise between gears.. |

/\ as above
![]() original cat with no internals and no mid pipe. sound is fine for me. notably more business like without being 'boy racer' annoying. |

Any chance of some audio from those of you with modified exhausts (that haven’t posted it already)?

Sounds like I have similar. Not too loud, Stage 2, turbo etc. it's decent for a Puma but barely respectable compared to other cars or even quick Defenders. I suspect it may be your driving style that spooks the BMW's, not your motor.
Who said anything about small? all I said was "Loud exhausts on really slow motors make me laugh". That's just me, each to their own and all that. |
