I’d like to eliminate the suspension sag when I’m fully laden with weighty camping kit but not compromise the ride when unladen. With the ability to inflate/deflate as and when necessary in the system below seems ideal. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Looks exactly like the Firestone air springs, maybe you could get it cheaper at them.

No experience with the air springs myself but Paddocks sell a very similar (if not identical) kit.

not sure if it's what you're looking for but there are kits that give you true air suspension like on the disco 3 (at least it's similar so far as I'm aware) ie different ride heights etc.
some what more expensive but might be the best long term solution? IRB have fitted quote a few of them now. Not really sure about feed back on them other than to say I've not heard anything negative about them......might even be an investment if you can get into the cheaper / lower price bracket on Ferries where price is based on height |

I have them on my 110. Been on 8 years. Posted my thoughts not long ago on the 130 suspension thread that was about. Cheers

I've fitted the AirLift ones to my 110. Work just fine. T'd them to the rear and pump up with bike pump, takes all the saggy rear end out of the equation when I have a load of water/fuel/gear/bikes on back etc. And then can drop pressure for normal use. Caveat - the top fixing plug is total rubbish and works its way out (AirLift are aware of this and were working on a solution Click image to enlarge ) but I got fed up waiting so I got creative - you can fix this with a standard LR part used for adding helper springs (coil) Item 22 on parts diagram . See following pictures - should be clear enough: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

The fix has been installed for two years noww and has not moved. Perfect solution. Easy peasy fix - I cut the plug with a Bosch oscillating tool - went through it like hot knife through butter.

Lucky you! Apparently its not uncommon. No idea if AirLift have got the fix sorted, but what I did is ok so far.

Both went on mine, AirLift replacing on warranty but no fix proposed. A South African reseller apparently made one with a steel ring to reinforce the lip but according to AirLift this is for lifted or modified suspension and would void the warranty if used.
I'm going to do the mod above on mine when I get them, apart from this they work great. |

Aye its an odd one. I have no idea whether its a manufacturing problem or a variation on Defender top mounts (or a combinatoin of both perhaps), but there was no doubt with mine - it was almost through the top hole and wiggling free!

Just noticed my top fixing on the passenger side has popped, did AirLift ever make the effort to rectify? 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

my 110 ones are still fitted no problem. just added a set (last month or so) to the 130 and mouldings are the same as my 110 ones that are 9 years old. not sure if thats a new or old style but they havent been a problem. Sure they are 110 top mouldings and not 90 ones? Cheers

I had no end of trouble with mine and ended up doing the mod above which has solved the problem and works well. It does look like Air Lift have finally acknowledged there is a problem and do now provide an upgraded version of the top spacer:
