96 300tdi 90 on Galv Chassis

Hi there, unfortunately I am having to sell my much loved 300tdi 90.

The vehicle has been owne by me for 3 years and has had a lot of time and money spent on it. It is a vehicle I cherish and was hoping to keep for a long while - sadly things change

The Spec is as follows:

-1996 300tdi 90 hardtop in Green
-Galvanised chassis with offshore spec powdercoat on top (it looks as good as the day it was done)
-Low mileage 300tdi which was partially rebuilt
-Heavy duty clutch and release bearing
-Rebuilt brakes
-Gwyn Lewis rear prop
-Whitbread off road roof bars and roll cage front hoop
-Retrimmed front seats
-Warn 8274 with Bow rope, XP motor has brand new brushes, albright soelnoid and in cab controls
-X Eng rear suspension arms with their springs and A frame joint
- The rear door can have the top removed for hot days (probably the best mod I've done!!)
-Heavy duty CV joints
--5 Grabbers for on road and 5 brand new Recips for off road.
-It has the Devon 4x4 Extreme bumper and Gwyn Lewis shock mounts.
-+5" Terra firma dampers on the back and +2" on the front. It articulates very well but has equally good manners on road.
-it also has Boost and EGT gauges fitted, a new radiator and intercooler. Straight through exhaust with one little silencer.
-It has twin Numax batteries and X Eng split charge.

7 months MOT and Tax still, it's on Northern Irish plates so hides it's age. It has a MUD dash with CD with Ipod connection and ply lined rear with mountings for two 6x9 speakers and a first aid kit. All nicely sprayed matt black. Even the headlining is clean!

It is so reliable I am wondering why I am selling, I have been allover the UK with it, green laned it and use it as a daily driver for the office - it truly is a do it all Land Rover.

The only bad point is a notchy second gear but doesn't notice if you shift slower. I have a brand new R380 gearbox I will let go with the vehicle, and another engine but that will have to be negotiated.

I am a offshore mechanical engineer by trade, every job I have undertaken on this vehicle has been done right, better than the mechanics at my friends garage and they admit it I wouldn't hesitate to drive this vehicle anywhere. It has had regular 3000mile oil changes.

Don't really know what else to say other than I have a little lump in my throat writing this tbh

You'll just have to remember it now has an 8274 on the D44 Extreme bumper and 265 Recips on those rims

I am looking for somewhere near £8k but am open to offers.
