My mate has just bought the 7, literally a few days ago. We've tried it on the slopes and he likes it very much. Neither of us have owned one before, but he did look at this first before buying:

Mine arrived yesterday!!
Click image to enlarge And I managed to repurpose some coin cases I had, took the trays out and put my gear in it. Click image to enlarge What are the best angles, to use on the truck... This is my first set of GoPros, never used them before. We have a trip to Spain - the long way by road _ NC500 _ _ greenlining each month _ And we are hoping to do the Route66 next year ort maybe the year after, so thought it wise to record the journey. Yeh , go big or go home kinda thing...
I have loved photography for a long time, and got into videography 5 years ago, but... buying a house got in the way and it had to take a back seat, now being settled, I want to jump back into it head first! And what with now owning a Landy and a lot of driving trips coming up, it just makes sense... We have a 'long way down' trip to Spain, nc500, monthly greenlining trips, and possibly route 66 next year or year after, id love to catch it all. Yeh will do bud.
Cant wait to get some footage... I was at my mates last night and they have 5 new kittens they are fostering... They were bouncing all over the place so I said I would go back and get a vid of them.. Sadly I have no trips planned in the defender any time soon... (and im not sure how I will attach the GoPro to the truck just yet, as I don't have the correct mounts at the moment) But ill get a vid up as soon as possible. IS a gimbal really necessary with he 7? i thought that was its major selling point the image stabilization?
Biggest thing is post production anyway, get a good software.. for me drones are the future over go pro's |

Not strictly, it takes out the fine shakiness - but say, when running or panning, it will make the movement even smoother. I have watched alot alot a lot of videos over the last fortnight, and the footage is very very smooth, but you still get a jumpy up/down movement.. when I ordered it I was thinking of walking up mountains and just it may provide a smoother experience.. If it doesn't then ill flog it on lol. But definitely have a look on YouTube - Ill also have a quick look and see if I can post a link for you.. I got some more toys today, to record my travels in my 🖤 The Duchess 🖤
So not strictly Land Rover Defender, but... To record my journeys. I hope I can upload on here. Failing that I'll post YouTube links. As I'm bringing my channel back to life 😁 New toys to add to the GoPro 7 Black collection. -4x battery - charging 2 batteries from flat takes 3 hours, so now each camera has 4 batteries. Never run out of juice 😉 -2x 256gb memory cards to enable extra long recording without changing memory cards. Great for that whole day adventure. -10x battery boxes, to keep the batteries lint/dust free in my bag. - Kingston Mobilelite wireless G3, as it says, wireless file transfer to a hard drive so when away on a long trip and the memory cards get full, I can transfer to the hard drive, rather than carrying dozens of memory's cards (and it's cheaper) Last but not least by any means..... -1x 4 terabyte hard drive for said file transfers while away for a couple weeks at a time. Let's get recording 😁 😎 Click image to enlarge Regards Adam Loving The Duchess The Defender 110 TD5 XS My Defender story - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64005.html |
