You're probably best trying to get to a Show to see them all at once. Not sure which the best would be though.
Try looking for shows with at least 4x4overland and tuff-trek attending. Personally, i have a Ikamper Skycamp and love it. My advice on roof tents is go for a hard top, not a flappy fabric thing. Fabric isn’t waterproof so you are relying on chemicals treating it, and they flap, a lot in windy conditions. Get a good quality hard top one, and yes they are more money, but you get it back. I’ve had 10 years out of my Maggi before selling it for more than I purchased it. I’ve had many mates come and go with several fabric ones in that time.

I will be re-waterproofing it yearly - which is easy enough. Regards

Go to a show and see them in the flesh, see them being put up and taken down before you shell out, all RTT 's are not equal!
If you can't wait fro a show, definitely pay a visit to Dara @ Tuff-trek, plenty on display for you to look at and not just their own designs, they are the European distributors for many top brands too. 2003 Zambezi Silver TD5 110 XS SW overland prepped.... 2004 Santorini Black TD5 110 XS SW left hooker for sale! 2004 Alpine White TD5 110 left hooker (work in progress) |

Oh if we're doing that then...
I have an awesome perfect condition large Maggiolina Safari (windy handle one) that i really should part with as I have too many. It was over 3k new a number of years ago, 1600 Euro and it's yours. It's in France though 2003 Zambezi Silver TD5 110 XS SW overland prepped.... 2004 Santorini Black TD5 110 XS SW left hooker for sale! 2004 Alpine White TD5 110 left hooker (work in progress) |
