They just announced their OME BP 51 suspension kit for the Defender 110 and 130. I am curious about the price!

Well that's a bizarre coincidence, I was just looking at these.

I don't see them listed on OME's site for the Defender though, so thought they didn't do it for the Defender.

The prices for Japanese vehicles seem 'high', like about 5 times that of the regular shocks. Not sure I want to stretch that far, the regular ones seem pretty reasonable. Its just a pity they are yellow... Whistle 2005 Td5 90 XS

I got the specifications from Arbil. They will be available early next year. I can send you the specifications.

Seems strange after 4 years and two years after production stopped, they decide to release a Defender version? James

Along with 2 specifically tuned front BP-51 shock absorbers, the front fit kit includes a replacement front shock turret, front sway spacers, front bump stop spacers and reservoir mount assembly.

Still expensive but I hear good things from AUS about them. Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

If it was that price for a pair, I might just about see the value proposition. But £2000 just for a set of 4 shocks for a Land Rover seems ludicrous to me. 2005 Td5 90 XS

I couldn’t fit a set of those and then watch a winter of British road salt do it’s worst on all that shiny aluminium. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

It's more than that a corner for decent coil overs and triple bypass! Shocked Cheers

£500 fronts. £500 for the rears. Including all brackets and mounting hardware so not too bad but still pricey. You'd pay that for Bilstein 7100s or Fox Instagram @defender_ventures

Are you sure its not just for one shock only? The page says at the bottom:

"Please note Shock absorbers are supplied individually"

which makes me think you need 2 at the front and 2 at the back to get to £2k, before adding springs? 2005 Td5 90 XS
