I would welcome your views. I have been offered £30 K for my Defender that has 7000 miles on the clock and 12 months MOT.
Immaculate condition with 150 bhp remap, Dinitrol underseal protection, Nakatanenga spare wheel set up and Alive comfort springs with ARB and Bilstein shocks. Does this sound reasonable ? Not used much as mileage shows and Small's 80" is the main choice., but do not want to give it away! Yes, I had wondered as the chap who approached me had the look of a dealer and did not seem to ask the right questions.
The kipper tie , pencil moustache and trilby reminded me of George Cole in the 'Trinians' films. (Joke only) Thanks , will probably reject when I get home. 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

Far far to cheap and I’m sure they know that I would have thought with the tasteful extras 35k would be nearer the mark. It s a difficult call, the market isn’t consistent, people asking silly silly money and then “chancers” offering you cheap monies before they try and sell on at silly silly money.
Perhaps upload a few pics and see what others think here? Sounds like a nice Defender you have. Just my thoughts 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

Very nice and while i know its an edition i’m struggling to see why someone would pay 45k as people suggest which is almost 3x what my nicely upgraded and well looked after 30000mls 90SW cost me last summer. 30k obviously low for the market but if they go to 35k on a private sale surely thats good?

This Defender would be an absolute steal at £35k so definitely worth more.
Although I know extras do not normally increase the value that much , the extras on this Defender are simply the best you can install on a Defender and of the highest quality. 2016 Defender Landmark 90 2005 Defender CSW TD5 90XS |

Don’t sell it !
I had one very similar with 10k miles, I sold it and regretted it months after, kicking myself now, yours is a stunner, I wouldn’t part with it unless I absolutely had to. OJ |

Thanks Chaps...It seems that I should leave it alone at the back of the shed. Having got it out for the pics, I must admit that it does look nice 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

Looks like a beautiful, original, low mileage, nicely optioned Defender to me.
Can't say much about the "New" Defender, 'cause I don't know much about it, but if it is far removed from the likes of what you have, values could go much higher.......because "as new" vehicles such as yours will be in high demand from enthusiasts. Pickles. |
