Loud CLACK from front Wipers when in use
When using the wipers on my 110 I notice a rather loud and annoying clack from the wiper operation. It will occasionally move without the clack. Seems to only happen on moving away from park position.

I am guessing this will mean a dash disassemble Sad

Would it be the wiper motors on the way out or something else?

I have a clack as well.

Mine is the wiper hitting the water channel at the base of the windscreen, doesn’t always happen but when it does, it reminds me that it’s a job that needs doing... Laughing

It's most likely wear in the wiper boxes and/or drive cable. It's necessary to take out most of the top of the dash to gain access to these parts. Darren

if mine was anything to go by, the repair is very simple, once you get to the drive boxes. There is a metal tang which presses on the back of the drive wheel. Mine was on longer pressing against the gear, resulting in a loud clacking noise. I replaced one drive box before I realised what a simple fix it was. Literally a matter of bending the tang so that it presses against the back of the gear, just enough to prevent end float without making it difficult for the gear to move
