Xs half leather has cracked and split on drivers seat base.
Doesn’t fill me with confidence of the leather, it appears thin. Seats are comfy but that doesn’t help you in the cover situation. |

Get the best you can afford, I have upgraded to XS in the 110 and stuck on a set of Britpart (I know) seat covers and they are actually holding up well, I am often in and out wet,dirty covered in cr@p etc and I have no issues with the covers at all and I know my comfy seats are still clean and in good nick.

Thanks chaps.
Having thought about it over night, I think the half leather will be a bit of a nightmare for me due to condensation on the sunroof & dog hairs. Full leather would be nice (ease of cleaning), but the cracking worries me. What are the G4 seats made from? Exmoor trim seem to be quite vague on their site... |

I’ve got 3 dogs and hair on the seats isn’t a major issue with the cloth section of the seats, but as Mash said, get some covers on some Xs seats, comfy and waterproof

That's good too here about dog hairs not causing too much of an issue on the cloth.
The problem I have with seat covers is that I'm never going to see what I've paid for...bit like having a super model for a missus, but sleeping in separate bedrooms to save her for the next bloke (plus I'm a tight Northerner and don't want to fork out for nice covers  ).
Has anyone got the G4 seats? |

This could almost be a saving grace - instead of leather, you can get the cheapest material and put the savings towards a good set of covers. Our 2001 CSW has Techno trim that even now looks almost brand new under a set of canvas covers that were fitted from new. And if they do get filthy, you can take them off and wash them and still have a usable seat in the interim. |

Ayup, don't make me change my mind...I'll be buying a set of cheap Aldi seat covers and sticking a couple of cushions off the sofa under them at this rate

I had a set of Inka covers on my L322 for 18 months to protect them from the muddy dog, I'm seriously considering a set for the 110 as well, but it doesn't look like they have fitment for the older style individual rear seats yet

I've got the XS full leather on the front and second row seats. The four tip up rear seats are techno trim with exmoor black nylon covers on. The dog sits on these all the time and they still look brand new. Despite his best efforts. They wipe clean easily and dog hair doesn't stick.
The leather seats are good to look at and comfortable, but are not what I would call OEM quality for wear and I've had the drivers seat base replaced after 2 years wear. If I did it again I'd probably go for canvas covers for the front two rows. |

I re-upholstered and trimmed my seats with the G4 trim kit. It is a vinyl, smooth outer and edge and a raised dot on the centre panel. I like mine... having said that I have since fitted the canvas seat covers over to keep the seats clean and they help with the hot/cold feeling depending on the weather. I'd recommend the seat heating kit too.
