I fitted the mud stuff version last summer. Nice and secure and also lifts the box to form an arm rest.

I’ve got the Mud sliding one too. Very happy with it. You do have to remember to leave space behind it to allow it to open though. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

diy.. create one for the same purpose, but was not in need of adding switches.. Now I also can rest my arm on the cubbybox while driving

Now for a strictly safe options for storing valuables I would suggest a look at the Nakatanenga underfloor safe here
Being completely out of sight does increase the security aspect. OK it does not help with switch location. Unlike other underfloor safes no cutting of floor panel is required. Brendan |

+1 for MudStuff sliding locker - an excellent piece of kit.
Whilst it does have a lock, its not really a secure storage, in that it can probably be easily forced with a sturdy screwdriver. But in fairness, it doesn't pretend to be a safe. |
