Be aware that some interpret OEM as Or Equivalent Manufacturer nowadays.

Vulcanfreak, you seem to be correct.
One leading UK web site has 11 deferent listings for P/N PHE500060 with 3 listed as Original equipment. Its seems OEM is now a bit of a lottery. I sent a question to the suppliers and asked who the OEM really was, he told me “Border holding or ALLMAKES 4X4” No way on this earth do JLR gets parts from Britpart or All Makes. Liked how they say "Border Holdings" rather than Sh*t Part.. I will go for Mann Hummel air filter rather pay crazy money for Genuine Land Rover |

Depends what you're trying to achieve.
If you must have OEM parts, finding out who JLR is currently using as their supplier for these filters could be hard work (as described above) and result in purchase a very expensive part from a standard manufacturer. IMO - a good quality pattern part from a respected manufacturer for a lower price an OEM will usually be better PS: +1 for MANN filters, used them for years. |
