Only you can decide. Go drive one and see what you think. Best thing is a working heater........ it's quieter and feels more modern, and you are more removed and relaxed. But to me it dosnt really feel like a defender, and felt very beige.I'm glad I scratched the itch, but if those things were important I'd buy a D4.
