16MM X 1.5MM thread I believe. Have a look here and give them a call, they can give you all the information and probably the studs you require. I bought the stainless nuts and the quality was and still is after two harsh Winters superb.
http://www.wrington.co.uk/landrover.htm Edit after re-reading.... Misread your post sorry....above is not what you were after....Nevertheless if you are going to replace, stainless would be my choice as if your carrier has been repainted there would be no issue about dissimilar metal crorosion. Take one of the existing bolts to a marine chandlers (if convenient for you) and undoubtedly they'll have something suitable! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Cheers K9F. I will just have to take one of them out and measure it. I was being lazy and hoping someone could tell me what they are without me doing anything, but it's easy enough just to check! Thanks anyway.

Prob M8x30mm at a guess. they have really big (around 60mm Dia.) washers on the back which are a pain to get hold of too. You may have to get them from dealer, or get a local engineer to turn a few, from a bar of stainless.
