As I say I appreciate the work involved and the execution but (and please don't take offence as none is intended) to me it looks rather like push fit polythene drainpipe. Steve.

I agree with MK. Nice idea to make something, but can't see the engine liking that to be honest.

Have you incorporated anything in the inlet end to break up and drain rainwater to stop it entering the engine?

Water would exit in the normal way from the outlet at the front of the airbox unless he's blocked it off?

But the volume of water entering the airbox will be a lot higher due to the ram effect of the intake meaning a higher risk of water ingestion into engine even if the small drain hole is left open. The safari snorkel gets around this by breaking up the water drops as they enter and are directed to the rear of the scoop to allow the water to drain out through the dedicated drainage channels in the scoop.

RAI
Why not just come out of the top of the wing with a big fat pipe, and do away with all the bends ? Or just fit the Mantec one, it would probably work out cheaper if you count the time to make this.

I don't like the Aesthetics at all. Yov have taken care of the looking of all the other components of your car as bumper, lights etc. But the RAI is really ugly.

Let me guess.... You're going to put a gimp mask over the top and hang a pair of handcuffs from it? It's the world's first AUto-erotic asphyxiation S&M snorkel? Or just an homage to Slipknot?
