I thought that the traction control system can regulate the throttle as well as activate the brakes, so the result you get is to my mind not unexpected. The TPS is probably the same, but the ECU I would think is undoubtedly different and incompatible.
If it is not a daft question, why are you trying to swap the ECUs over? Seems a very odd thing to do! |

tps connectors are differnt 110 abs is 2001 and defender 130 is 2000 non abs

I would say one of them has a 2 track accelerator pedal and the other has a 3 track pedal. The 2 track can be used with all models but the 3 track only with the later nnn ecu. You need to tell the ecu which pedal there is fitted or it wont work at all, to do this you need a nanocom or something similar.

when you swap the ecu's you need to enter the 5 injector codes and also preform the "security learn" procedure, i would have thought they are both on two track because4 of the year of them.

If the engine runs, then the security is OK.
Injector codes are correction factors for optimal running, as long as there are some injector codes programmed into the ECU then it will run. I know this as I swapped engines in my 90, and it ran and drove fine with the old injector codes programmed in. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

hi i am getting crazy
the thottle pedals look the same the only difference is that the abs has 7 wires in different position and the non abs has 6 wires i bopught this defender non abs without starting because the engine was bad but i want to buy theecu buty iam not sure if this part umber is for non abs msb101171 |

The ECU is the same for ABS or not.
