Sounds like a sensor to me. Might be able to take the guesswork out of it if you get diagnostics on it. Should be able to tell you wheel speed from each wheel.
There's a Land Rover Toolbox video on youtube recently that'll tell you exactly what to do to diagnose it if that's the route you want to take. |

Are the ABS sensors fully located “home” ? Check they’re pushed fully down into their sockets

Well, have had it all to bits again, both sides, ABS sensors out and cleaned/checked, same 3 shims on them as before & torqued down
All refitted, and ABS kicks in still , maybe even more so, than before !! California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

Did you reset the swivel pre load when you did the seals?
From memory on my 200 bitsa the abs sensor is through the top swivel bearing, if there's too much play in the swivel it may make the seals weep and could upset the abs setting Keith |

Any codes present? Can you graph the sensors at low speed and see any drop outs?

I had a similar issue recently whereby the front right would lockup on ABS/TC.
I took out all of the sensors, cleaned them, applied a smear of anti seize grease a popped them all back in. Stu... 2013 Aintree Green 90 XS SW 2.2 Puma |

Did you change the tiny needle roller bearing inside the stub axle (assuming its the same as a td5 one).
Did swivel seals on my td5 some years ago then had the same problem when we had set everything up again- changed the tint bearing and that sorted it. Think ill be doing the same again on the opposite side in the new year.... Chris |

Update & sorted
Issue with r/h front ABS sensor, new one cure it,, either coincidence (3.5 years and 11,000 miles !!) or the wire was damaged somehow when the hub was striped down for seal replacement ?
