Points noted........
But it also does say you can pick up your tent from the shop in Dorchester, given what you have disclosed, that would be my option, I was more interested in what people thought of them as a tent compared to the other roof tents, but maybe its a very new company I have just fallen on and no one has one. JD Edit.....forgot to say, it does say IN STOCK for the new release tents JD 2008 TDCi 2.4 XS CSW |

If you can go and see the tents in Dorchester, please do so before parting with money. Just because a website says items are in stock I know that there can be a big difference between a website and what is physically on someone's shelf
Some friends of ours paid for a roof tent, was told it was about 6 weeks delivery, landed up being 6 months. Have heard stories that another company took 12 months to fulfil a paid for order for a roof tent. Those are the reason why I was urging caution. We ordered some kit in May, was told delivery late June or July. Current delivery date is December, luckily we have not paid for them. The designs look very similar to the Italian made Autohome range of roof tents. We are aware of a new hard shell tent made in Germany which will be available early next year. Please go and have a good look at them and report back. Brendan |

To be honest, if I was selling an imported product these days, I would be quoting in native currency also, given the downtrend of the pound currently why would you quote in pounds......it’s a losing currency until we stop this madness ...........at least selling in native currency protects the seller......

Had a good look at one last week on a customers Cruiser... Not terrible but nothing great either...Fabric looked a bit cheap and general finish was very much budget end. Lower shell is a little flimsy too.
However customer seemed to like it Badger - definately not made in USA |

Was it one of the new releases with ‘improved materials’ out of interest?

More like a few thousand miles west to be honest.
I could have a good guess at the manufacturer who exports 70% of their production to the USA. Brendan |
