Yes been for sale for a while. I seem to remember some controversy about it, possibly about the mileage.

I did notice even between the eBay ad and the linked Gumtree ad the mileage varies significantly, both lower than 132k James

Very nice desirable 110, but the mere fact that someone hasn’t bothered to straighten up one of the spot lamp lenses would have me walking away. If a zero cost fix like that hasn’t been carried out, indeed if it’s not even been noticed then what else could potentially be unresolved? Picky, yes, but very noticeable. Apart from that it certainly looks the part, and I hope it’s next owner has a lot of fun with it but it wouldn’t be me.

Reported to ebay for being misleading on mileage. Would recommend others do the same, hate it when people are dishonest about that sort of thing.

Nice project for someone. I would leave the body alone if it’s still the original paint.

The V8 having been rebuilt 6,000 miles ago is a plus, provided it was done well.
If the chassis needs lots of welding, it can be difficult to do some notorious areas with the body on. A sympathetically done rebuild, maintaining/T-cutting its original Masai Red paint and keeping/getting the interior correct could almost pay for itself if the purchase price is right. |
