Ok so new to the forum and thought i would say hi.
i have just purchased an 09 defender 110 with utility pack and so far love it. i used to own a defender 110 van 1995. i bought that second hand and had it for 6 years until the crank shaft snapped. re the new one, i seam to have some of the rust/corrosion problems that are talked about on here. i have taken it back and all is being sorted under warrantee. My main concern is the alarm, am thinking of having a good after market one fitted. Also thinking of getting it wax oiled. There a few other mods i want to do but all in good time. |

Zermatt silver is simply great on Defender! Its no accident that loads of the marketing photos are in that colour. |

Not to my mind. I've had a couple in silver and found them to be a very practical colour which is absolutely not the case with my current one in Santorini black Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Silver and black are the two colours that i would never have on any LR product. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Silver and Black are the only colours I would have, in fact if I had the money I would have my Series 1 repainted in either |
