Well back to it after finishing the season in the chippy and taking the tdci to Iceland.
So we managed to squeeze the Series three into the workshop and get the new bulkhead loosely fitted on. Click image to enlarge Added new clutch parts Click image to enlarge Really pleased with how the powder coating has come out Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Bit of a frustrating day today, trying to get the wiring loom through the chassis, struggled to get a rod through and when we did the bloody cable wouldn’t go through, anyway tomorrow is another da, so after I yank it back out we will try again.
Screwed in the lower dash and some other bits and bobs, and bought home some of the dash plastics for a scrub in the bath. This is my very good mate Mick Moore, Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Yes tomorrow is another day always best to walk away for a time and then come back to it, then it goes the way you want it to 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Got the head back today with the new hardened valves for lead free running. All very new to me but with help and assistance from the chaps at the yard, it’s coming together. Really enjoyed hands on with the feeler gauges setting up the tappets, as they say, every days a school day.
