I do this drive every year in my SVX. Love it. We have a place in Empuriabrava. Out of the 10000 Miles my SVX has Covered 8000 of those are driving backwards and forwards to Spain.

Worried about it being approved for a new gearbox and clutch under the Used Approved warranty it came with!

Also drove to the park with the little un - who has really cracked his little balance bike - flying along now!

Truck being "assessed" tomorrow. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

A while back I had my keys stolen, so imagine my surprise to find that the thief had kindly returned them and put them back right down the back of the sofa Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Cheers!

It's now being looked at. I think they've pre-ordered a new gearbox and clutch so they seem confident it'll be approved.

The courtesy car (last week it was a top end Freelander)? A 1.2 Corsa - it's HORRIBLE!!

BM also currently being sorted (I'm sat in the waiting room) for a wobbly brake disk issue that's been rather tough to sort - BAD CAR WEEK!! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

Scotland 1996 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Alpine White
Fitted my front doors with some nice new black hinges, old ones where rusting away and the drivers door was becoming a pig to close. Then discovered that the drivers door its self was misshapen from the 'incident' my dad had in which it ended up on its side! Just gotta get the final preparations for the back door and then it'll be ready to go. Thumbs Up Ben

I take the BM to an independent (it's out of warranty) - attractive receptionist, wifi, real enthusiasts that run it -TBH I quite enjoy going there! Brakes sorted, corroded hubs done, turbo vacuum leak sorted (replaced all hoses too), wallet approx £500 lighter. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.
