Yup, I've found this hanging from the front of mine too. I've just pulled the thing out now. Presume it's not really needed.

There a foam strip under the fan top cowl on top of the radiator. Ray

I'm sure mine was underneath the rad. Are there supposed to ones top and bottom?

Ray.....would that be right at the front of the cover, tucked under a lip so when the fan cover is fitted it sits over the upright edge of the top of the front horizontal metalwork?
I did try it back in that location but it wasn’t exactly the same length so dismissed it. I’d also cleaned the cover so any tell tale marks would have been wiped off. The amazing thing is it must have been lying on the inside of the steering guard for a couple of weeks and not blown away! Thank you for your input. Glen |

Ben, I never looked under the radiator as I never removed the bottom half so there may be one down below, who knows?
Somebody on here will know though |

It's all good, it didn't look too important. If you have one on the top though, I'm missing two of them!

Neoprene put back on with double sided sticky tape in the place mentioned. Whether that’s the correct location who knows, but it does appear to be the correct length for that place
