Nothing unusual there from a dealer and standard defender issues im afraid.
I would have expected/demanded a car - if picked up by LRE then they WILL get you one and are very good. Mike |

I would call them up to arrange some warranty work and tell them that you want a courtesy car, that way they can't fob you off on Hertz or Enterprise.

Welcome to the site
No you are not being unreasonable. Remember you are under no obligation to use the same dealer to carry out warranty work, any franchised LR dealer can/will do so so you don't have to put up with them if you have the option of using somewhere else. You should definitely get a courtesy vehicle for warranty work - probably a Freelander 2. As for the service book, have you asked for the missing book from the supplying dealer - I assume it was a franchised LR dealer you bought it from? 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Hiya Nick
Welcome , you stalking me lol? You are not being unreasonable, all your issues are valid points which should be addressed under warranty. And yes, they should provide you with a courtesy car if available. Might be worth dropping a mail/call to Landrover customer relations [0870 5000500] www.landrover.com and seeing their reaction - worked for me lol Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

Should have known you'd be on here Apart from the couple of niggly bits, I am over the moon with the new motor. Just finnished decking the back out for the dogs-looking smart. Had it up Drumclog with the Difflock lads in the first week of ownership -Brilliant weekend! |

Strugling with the photo posting-these are without the storage boxes underneath. The sides are lined in plastic and joints welded.

Just having a swarm over the motor and generally making it home-what are all the yellow dabs of marker for?

Hi Nick,
Which dealer is causing you so much grief? Always interesting to know who is letting us down. To avoid the expensive 08xx numbers you can call Land Rover on 0121 722 2424 and ask for customer service. I would definitely speak to them and you will probably find them very helpful. As others have commented find yourself a decent dealer - Hillendale would probably work well for you if I have got your location right. Proud owner 110 Utility XS Ex RR Sport HST V8 Ex Td5 90 |
