After weeks, well months really, the wheels are now perfect.
I found the right colour, the right bolts (what a nightmare!) and the tyres.
I think it does look fantastic.
Next step will be a beige soft top.....
But in the meantime, I Also started to upgrade the interior (pictures to come later)

The Rostyles look quite deep dished are they original, mine don't look as deep as yours?

What size tyres do you have on them?

Well spotted!
The wheels have been modified by Essex banded wheels, they did an execellent job.
Then there were painted by Posh wash in London.
Super happy the end result.

After many months of hard work, this is now a finished project.
The inspiration and the objective was to create a backdated look and it looks super cool inside out.
Wheels, front grille, the spare tyre, the interior with that beautiful beaspoke steering wheel .....everything g is there to remind you the old Land Rover series.

I do like the wheel, reminiscent of the early spoked wheels. May I ask where you got it?

Also I congratulate you for fitting it correctly Series One style with the top spoke pointing ahead. So many fit this style of wheel with the bottom spoke vertical, which is wrong.
