Almost looks unrestored, which is very clever.

Well spotted Miles r3. The key is to try to keep the galvanised parts dull which were lucky enough to do.
Doesn’t get as dusty as my first one !

Russell has certainly produced some nice restorations. I don’t think I would dare take one on the road. Smile

Very, very nice, an outstanding job! How it should be done.

(But why does the underside of the bonnet appear to have been painted?)

Very nice indeed. Thumbs Up

I've known Russell for years, an Essex boy now exiled in Norfolk.

He goes about his business in a quiet modest way - and he's also worked hard for the LRSOC over the years.

First time I've seen pics of one of his commercial restorations, as he didn't start doing this until after he retired, but they're clearly up to the standards he used on his own Series One restorations.

I hope to have MUX62 at the Bristol LR dealer in the showroom next to the New Defender for their launch next week...
It’ll look ABSOLUTELY TINY next to the new model.
