Any truth in the following rumour?
Seems they have come to the conclusion that the Twin Towers were not destroyed by terrorists. The story goes that two blokes were working on the 41st floor hanging an office door. Seems the door was a little tight on top and was rubbing on the door frame. Anyway, Michael told Patrick to get a plane and take the top off.... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Too soon Question

My best friend died in the south tower so it'll always be too soon for me. Hence I have a slight sense of humour loss when it comes to jokes about what happened. I appreciate this makes me more sensitive than many when it comes to jokes about it, though as a forum user I am free to express my distaste.

True - but a number of people die each and every day...each one of them fantastic individuals no less deminished by the means of them dieing...some in very tragic and appauling ways.

Unfortunately we have to move on and remember them for them, positively - not the event that tragically removed them from this place.

BTW i also knew at least 2 people involved and died in the attack Thumbs Up (being an active church going christian) I believe they are in a better place Mike

The British thrive and survive by finding humour in the darkest of situations.

Without it, we'd be run by Germans/Spanish/whoever. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.
