Nice work Maik. I love the fact that everything on your truck looks so unique. I look forward to seeing the finished intake.

Looks nice, but does the physics work? At first glance I suspect flow resistance to be quite high.

yes the flow resistance is higher than witgout a snorkel. but at first test drive I don't felt a difference.

IMHO everything was nice with the roof rack and rock sliders, but.........not really my test. I suggest you can improve the interfase between the "ram" top and the pipes. Puma 110" SW

Did you do some measurements of the change? i.e. loss of power with this construction and additional stress on turbo are the most important ones. I checked the original lr part and did some measurements after which I decided not to put the rai on it as I felt uncertain about the implication on the TD4. |

@Mk
What would you improve ? It's interesting to hear what other think and mean what can to be improve. €Ninetytd4 Oh no I didn't made some measurements ![]() but you're completly right, that the flow resitance will be increased with the additional bends, we will see how it works in the future. |

Having the top facing front and the pipes at 90º going down doesn t look you`ll get air in a smooth way. It is called Head Loss. Puma 110" SW

Got to agree with Mike.
Fair play to you for making your own, unique system ..... but it's not to my taste, ugly looking thing. No offence Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |
