Yep, done that, run through engine diagnostics and nothing much showing. Head scratching ensued.
Injectors maybe? I'm not qualified to know what might make a difference. |

I hate to blame the VCV but have a look in this forum for the term VCV and you'll find lots of threads with similar issues.
Personally I'd try a Pump and Injector Relearn first before changing the VCV. Also worth checking the injector seals, they run really well even when the seals are past it. Tell tale signs are unexplained oil loss and wet oily reside around the top of the injectors. Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon Then: 2004 2.5 TD5 90 Hard Top (X-Tech Edition) |
